2. Using body sensations as an anchor in the present moment
3. Moving from ‘doing’ mode into ‘being’ mode
Home Practice
Formal Mindfulness Practice:
Daily Body Scan – 10 mins
Be aware of expectations about feeling anything in particular from doing this meditation.
Just let your experience be your experience.
Informal Practice:
Mindful Eating Practice
Eat one meal ‘mindfully’ during the week (or even a few bites) in the same way that you ate the raisin.
This may mean eating that meal on your own without distractions of other people, the television, the radio, or even a book or magazine.
Mindful Parenting Practice – “child as a raisin”
Observe your child (or partner) once during the week as if you are seeing your child (or partner) for the first time.
